Recognising the signs of pancreatic cancer
Pancreatic cancer often goes unnoticed until late stages due to its asymptomatic nature and a lack of available screening tools. This leads to poor outcomes: 7 out of 10 people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer face a survival period of less than 12 months post-diagnosis (AIHW, 2023).
Recognising the signs early can make a life-saving difference. While we continue to work on developing technology to early detect the disease, we encourage you to empower yourself with knowledge by learning the signs of pancreatic cancer.
