Recognising the signs of pancreatic cancer
Pancreatic cancer often goes unnoticed until late stages due to its asymptomatic nature and a lack of available screening tools. This leads to poor outcomes: 7 out of 10 people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer face a survival period of less than 12 months post-diagnosis (AIHW, 2023).
Recognising the signs early can make a life-saving difference. While we continue to work on developing technology to early detect and treat the disease, we encourage you to empower yourself with knowledge by learning the signs of pancreatic cancer.
